The multisensory studio at Claremont secondary school is a technologically
advanced room with many custom designed features. As well as being a state of the art mutlisensory studio with integrated audio, video and
lighting and touchscreen control additonal features such as integration of Possum Controls devices, automated timetabling and room setup, a midi
controlled sampler and a wireless touchpad to trigger samples where included in this system at the request of Claremont staff. The system has been
widely employed in creating a themed area which is changed periodically during term. Environments such as a garage, undersea scene and outerspace
have been created using the programmable theme feature. The lighting system consists of not only wall washng LED strips but also moving mirror
lights which are all controlled via the touchscreen and can be programmed into a theme. The entire system can be remotely monitored and
controlled for express support. Activities in the room can also be recorded direct to a DVD recorder via a fixed hi resoltion video camera and an
ambient microphone.
